A typical vocal day….NOT!!!!!
What a great session - capped off with another astonishing performance of Empty Eyes by Kelli.
We have been laughing a lot this week over the expression; “Music’s easy!!!”…if only. We spent today listening to the vocals on all 5 tracks that were recorded last week; breaking them down, listening to the same section over and over again, listening for almost imperceptible changes in tone and pitch and sending Kelli back behind the Mic if it wasn’t right. Yeah - Music’s easy!!!!!!
But you know what - when it’s right, it is not only right, it’s magical, it’s fun, it’s easy and that’s what we strive for, every time.
