It has been a fabulous week, but then of course we knew it would be; there was just something in the air on Monday morning that said things were about to change and change they have.
Tuesday saw Mike and I headed out to Venice Beach to have lunch with Michael Jost - you can check out Michael’s music over at jostmusic.com. We have been looking for the right location in Los Angeles to establish a base and I had remembered how I had seen Michael playing on top of the A&W building on the Venice Boardwalk one memorial day weekend - we wanted to know how he had managed that.
Turns out the City wasn’t terribly thrilled with the whole Health & Safety aspect so I don’t think we’ll be replicating the gig any time soon - but just through chatting with Michael we were able to identify a number of other opportunities, more on that next week.
For now we’ll leave you with a video from Sugarbitch - the track is called Revolution and is a great introduction into the killer grooving rock and soul that this band has to offer - thanks Michael - catch you on the beach very soon.
