Today Was A Great Day…

…it’s so nice to recognize that amidst all the malarkey that accompanies this project; sometimes the days are just good!

We revisited the set-list, focusing on a 45 minute starter set - incorporating the new material such as Can’t, Two Steps, What am I to do? and In The Name Of God. We have some work to do on the newer ones and are bummed that we won’t be in rehearsal tomorrow - Mario has to take care of something - we hope it works out!

Really dug into the versions of What am I to do? from the last session, we’re really looking forward to coming back into the room to work on it again. Oh - and to the band - we sat and listened to the original groove when it first came in the room - if you listen to the solo - its counting in 12 time - or two rounds of 6 - which is where the “confusion” over the 6 and 4 counts came from (As Mario pointed out…)

We then did a whole host of other things - including writing a new song - and managed to shoot a little video. We’ll leave you with this short: “House on the Freeway!”
