As the project comes together, we recognize just how great the contributions are from the human beings involved; from Ryan and Michelle on the Tech side to Red and Steve on the Bus, it takes many people and many different skills and experiences to make this thing fly.
We are back into the rehersal schedule having taken a 3 week break to focus on lyric writing and general administration. There is a new level of excitement in the room as the band really start to gel. With 7 new songs generated in the last two months, 5 originals carried forward from before and a few stunning covers - the set is really coming together.
The reality of playing in a band is that you have to be “on” the entire time - there’s no opportunity to sit back from the monitor and have a coffee or just goof off for a while - which makes the experience of playing with ear infections and sore throats all the more challenging! Hopefully both Thom and Andrew will be feeling better soon - we miss their backing vocals!!
