It was a pretty tough day yesterday and although we didn’t finish it with a complete song, we pretty much nailed the structure and the first story - check it out:
Window down, hands on the wheel
Watching him swagger, know how I feel?
Hand on his gun, attitude showing
“Tell me” he said “how fast were you going”
I can see by his smirk how this would go
I say “I’m sorry, I really don’t know”
I think its better to lie because
What I wanted to say was…
“Uh Yeah!
I was doing 96 and having a blast
It isn’t that often I get to go fast
Why play these games when you already know
Give me the ticket I’ve got places to go
Oh and Officer, by the way…
…Have a Nice Day!”
The music is really going to help get the point across - we just need to come up with the second story. The basic concept is that universal truth where we answer a question with a complete lie - no really - it happens!!!
