Jeff Mallow - Guitars, Vocals, Storms and Devils…

Do you like guitar solos? Do you like serious, kick back, kick ass, impossible to play, searing melodies that grab you by the ears, strap you in and take you through the stratosphere? If you haven’t heard Jeff’s work on Ride, take a minute and listen to it right now, you can stream it directly off Kelli’s web site here. Have a listen and then come back and read the rest of the post.

In order to be a ShadowMan…

…you not only have to be able to “Play…”

You have to play with Attitude!

When it comes to delivering the live show, of all the Shadowmen, it is the relationship between Kelli and Jeff that ignites the audience. He is Ying to Kelli’s Yang, the Devil to her Preacher and the hurricane before her outrage.

There’s a reason it’s called “Lead Guitar” and it has nothing to do with how quick you are – although having golden fingers is definitely an advantage.

It doesn’t matter how much support you get from your fellow ShadowMen…

…it can be a lonely experience.

Of course you wouldn’t know that from looking at Jeff! There is a quiet confidence that oozes out of him, reminiscent of Sergio Leone’s “The Man With No Name.”

…there’s no need to be “Flashy”

..no need to pretend…

When you play like this…

The Guitar says everything that needs to be said!
