On The Big Black Bus

This blog is written for anyone who wondered what it would be like to be a musician: to be in a rock band, to tour America and the world, to play in front of thousands of people, to just do it. Content is a direct reflection of our daily lives and activities: songwriting, rehearsing the band, recording, audiences, people that you meet in strange places, etc. We use plenty of images, we think they look cool, we’ll post video and new audio as and when they become available. Frequency will reflect activity in the project - potentially daily when we’re touring - weekly when we’re not.

It’s all about Communication…

Well, with rehearsal off this week, we thought we’d continue the deeper look into how things really happen in the room. As in any enterprise, it’s all about the communication between the players in the room. Obviously in the music world, sound is a critical means of getting your point across, however, people underestimate the use of non-verbal cues to really indicate how you feel….

Of course, those non-verbal cues can be taken a little too far - particularly in LA…
