Great Day… - On The Big Black Bus

Building on yesterday’s delivery of the set list, today saw another two high-energy sets. We recorded the first one and I cannot wait to hear some of the performances. The energy Kelli drove into the room was fantastic and the songs are moving forward in leaps and bounds!

An unexpected treat today was the opportunity to play with a Sax in the room, courtesy of Alex. It was great fun to just jam around on different shapes – including some Jazz standards too, who knew?!?! Took the opportunity to continue work on the “Train Song”, a tempo driven groove that Thom introduced to the room on Monday. This track is going to be a lot of fun and already has people commenting on the energy of the piece.

Unless something happens – we will be recording next week; everyone is excited and looking forward to it. There is just something about going to a recording studio and producing a record that is, well, it’s an amazing experience and we all love to do it.
