That’s almost $15 billion dollars a year - in downloads! Still - even in another 4 years, CD’s are projected to take the lion’s share; it’s all about how easy it is to get to and play your music. The fact that the vast majority of music on the new MP3 players is “side loaded” (imported from a CD rather than purchased as a download) means that the CD business is going to be alive and well for the foreseeable future.
