Very odd thing this whole songwriting process - we came into yesterday confident and prepared for anything:
We delved the ocean of inner emotion
Driven by hope and by fear.
But the words that came
Were totally lame
So we buggered off for burgers and beer!
Actually, this had worked for us in the past; we wrote “Daddy” - the Follow up to Ride in a bar in downtown San Clemente, sometimes you just have to change the environment. We also had a reason to get out of the house, as we wanted to check out Swallows Inn in San Juan Capistrano. It’s a cool little Cowboy bar that has live music and we wanted to check out the stage.
However, even with all that - well - we’ll let the video tell the story….
